When you complete the program, you’ll receive your certificate from Cal State East Bay, an accredited university. Additionally, you'll receive a voucher to sit for the professional certification exam that best aligns with your interests and career goals.
Choose from three nationally recognized exams: the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exam offered by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
