Tuition and Fees

Fees for Cal State East Bay Continuing Education courses vary, depending on the type of course selected. Visit our course catalog to view the fee(s) for a specific course.

Registration is incomplete until full tuition and fees have been paid. Visa, MasterCard, purchase orders (mail your original PO and registration form to our office), as well as check and money order are all acceptable forms of payment. Make checks and money orders payable to "CSUEB".

Course Fees

Fees vary by program. Please refer to individual courses under our Online catalog for fee information.

Late Fees

Registrations and fees must be submitted before the first meeting of the course. In some cases, payment at the first course meeting may be accepted if space is available and the instructor approves.

For courses with five or more meetings, a $25.00 late registration fee per course is charged. Late registration is not permitted for courses with four meetings or less. This policy applies to both credit and non-credit courses.

Financing Your Certificate Program

There are several options that may assist with financing your education. Many companies provide tuition reimbursement or assistance for professional development courses, so check with your employer.

Continuing Education students may be eligible for a private loan through Citibank’s CitiAssist loan program. CitiAssist loan payments are automatically deferred until six months after completion of your certificate program. Go to: www.studentloan.com/schools/csueb/cont for more information and to apply. Please note that our CitiAssist school code is 001138-61.

Another option is a Sallie Mae loan. Continuing Education is a registered provider for education/training loans through Sallie Mae (www.salliemae.com/00113898). The CSUEB school code is 001138-98 and contact person is Janet Kelly.
