You’ll learn about legal, ethical, and regulatory concepts central to the medical billing and coding field, including HIPAA compliance, official coding guidelines, and third-party payer requirements. You’ll also come to understand all phases of the revenue cycle—patient registration, medical coding, claims submission, reimbursement, and collections–along with common medical terminology.
