California State University, East Bay's Oakland Center provides an affordable, convenient, and all-inclusive solution for your meeting and training needs. With 5,600 square feet of flexible-format meeting rooms, you can count on all the space and equipment you’ll need for a successful event.
Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Oakland, The Oakland Center is an all-inclusive facility. All rooms are equipped with high speed Internet access and A/V equipment, LCD projectors, whiteboards, and feature optional hybrid-conferencing capability (Zoom Room 75” monitor). Trained, friendly staff is available onsite to provide meeting, catering, and technical support.

Conference rooms are available for rent Monday through Friday at standard corporate or non-profit rates. In order to best suit your needs, The Oakland Center will open its doors 30 minutes prior to the starting time of your event. Off-hour and weekend rentals are generally available for an additional fee. Rates include all A/V equipment and onsite technical support. Payment is due by check within 30 days of the conclusion of your event.

For your convenience, we have compiled directions to the Oakland Center from virtually everywhere in the Bay Area.
Take Highway 24 to the Caldecott Tunnel. Take Highway 980 exit. Continue south to the 11th Street exit. Turn left onto 11th street. Cross Broadway. See below for parking information.
Take Highway 580 to Interstate 80 West. At the San Francisco/Oakland interchange, take Highway 580 East. Take the Highway 980/Downtown Oakland exit. Continue to the 11th Street exit. Turn left onto 11th Street. Cross Broadway. See below for parking information.
Take Highway 580 into Oakland. Take the Downtown Oakland exit onto Highway 980. Continue to the 11th Street exit. Turn left on 11th Street. Cross Broadway. See below for parking information.
Take the Highway 580 exit. Take the Downtown Oakland exit onto Highway 980. Continue to the 11th Street exit. Turn left onto 11th Street. Cross Broadway. See below for parking information.
Take Highway 880 North to the Broadway exit in Downtown Oakland. Make a right turn onto Broadway at the first light. Make a right turn onto 11th Street. See below for parking information. You may also use BART from the airport. The OAK BART station is located just across from the Terminal 1 baggage claim area and a short walk from Terminal 2. Take BART from OAK to Coliseum Station. From Coliseum Station, take a 12-minute ride on a Richmond-bound train to the 12th Street/Oakland City Center station.
Take the 11th street escalator up from the underground BART station and The Oakland Center will be across the street at the corner of Broadway and 11th Street.
Exit the Oakland City Center/12th Street station using the Broadway/11th Street South Exit. Proceed on Broadway to 11th Street and follow the directions under "Location" above. Visit the BART website for more information on routes and schedules.
The Oakland Center is served by several AC Transit lines which stop on either 11th Street or Broadway.
Underground parking is available at the Trans Pacific Centre on 11th Street, where the Oakland Center is located. The parking garage is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and there is a $2.00 charge per 15 minutes for parking ($24 daily maximum). Evening special pricing is available at $10.00, between 3:00 p.m.–closing. All parking rates are subject to change.
