This is the culminating 1 credit seminar for the Addiction Studies Certificate Program for all certification tracks. This class will prepare the student for a supervised practicum and working in the field. This class will move the student from the educational arena to the experiential. Prerequisites: A.A. degree or equivalent in units 84 quarter/56 semester is strongly recommended. Minimum requirement is 18 years of age or older, high school diploma or GED equivalent plus one year sobriety. Successful completion (final grade of C or better) of all of the required courses for the student's certification track and completion of a majority of elective units. The student must have applied to the program and prepare a petition for certification for their file with the University Extension Office. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: EPSY 7616.

This is a required course for the CCAPP and CSUEB tracks of the Addiction Studies certificate program. This course should be taken after all other course requirements have been completed (students on the CCAPP track may enroll in this course prior to enrolling the 2-unit section of EPSY 818). Meetings times are Saturday, July 25 from 9 am to 7 pm. This is an online synchronous course that takes place via Zoom. The Zoom information will be emailed to student within 3 days prior to the first class meeting and course materials will be available to students online through the CSUEB Canvas portal.
