This course is designed to teach the student how to develop a Substance Use Disorder Treatment Plan. The methods to be learned are the use of screening, assessment, and CSAM placement criteria to determine proper placement in a treatment facility and the development of a comprehensive treatment plan that identifies important treatment goals and interventions and the types of documentation used to track treatment progress. Grading: A-F grading only.

This is a required course for the CCAPP and CSUEB tracks of the Addiction Studies certificate program. Meetings times are Friday 6/12 (6-9 pm); Sat/Sun 6/13-14 (9 am - 2 pm). This is an online synchronous course that takes place via Zoom. The Zoom information will be emailed to student within 3 days prior to the first class meeting and course materials will be available to students online through the CSUEB Canvas portal.
