This course covers six essential areas of information for the HR professional to help understand Human Resources Information Systems and provide a knowledge toolkit for working with the IT department and software vendors. We will also cover the selection process and implementation of a Human Capital Management system, and review the types of HRIS jobs available in the marketplace.

This course will take place fully online, asynchronous (no scheduled meeting time). The students may move through the course materials via Canvas at their own pace. There are 6 hours of coursework videos, etc. to complete during the scheduled dates, Dec. 2, 2024 - Dec. 8, 2024 (starting Monday and ending on Sunday at 11:59pm).
