During the course of this seminar, you will explore strategic compensation management principles as well as a number of developments that have emerged during the last few years. Topics include: an overview of the elements of compensation that make up exempt, non-exempt, executive and sales compensation programs. Understand how to determine your company's competitive pay positioning in the market place including market pricing of jobs. Learn how to develop an annual merit pay plan as well as how incentive programs can drive employee performance. This interactive seminar is designed for individuals in HR and management who desire a broad overview of compensation management and want a practical "how to" approach to implementing compensation programs in the workplace.

This course will take place fully online, asynchronous (no scheduled meeting time). The students may move through the course materials via Canvas at their own pace. There are 6 hours of coursework videos, etc. to complete during the scheduled dates, Jan. 27 - Feb. 2. (starting Monday and ending on Sunday at 11:59pm).
