Becoming a great partner to your business leaders is the foundation of HR work, and there¿s no more important time than during a crisis. Leaders look to HR to help shape their people agenda, facilitate strategies to shape and reinforce the company culture and policies, and represent the voice of employees in key business decisions. This course will explore how to become just that: a respected, valued business partner. Learn about the role of the HR Business Partner, your responsibility across the employee lifecycle, how to build business acumen to enable better decisions, and how to build relationships with your business leaders to maximize your influence and impact during a crisis.

This course will take place fully online, asynchronous (no scheduled meeting time). The students may move through the course materials via Canvas at their own pace. There are 6 hours of coursework videos, etc. to complete during the scheduled dates, July 14, 2025 - July 20, 2025. (starting Monday and ending on Sunday at 11:59pm).
