Employment is a contract with rights, duties, and obligations based on agreement, practices, legislation, and court decisions. In this course, students will learn about elements of the employment contract; significant legislation review; privacy, harassment, and drug issues; controlling the employment relationship; policy manuals and employee handbooks; employee records management; performance; and conducting benchmarks, corrective actions, and terminations. Approved for six HRCI recertification hours.
