This course will offer an introduction to Change Management. Change is ever- present within nonprofit agencies, as the organization responds to both internal and external factors that impact its health, performance, and community impact. This Course will provide an overview of Change Management principles and best practices including: assessing the health of your organization, empowering change leaders, and leading change initiatives that stick. Throughout this Course, you will be immediately applying the principles covered towards the creation of a Change Management Plan that is relevant for the current needs of your agency. Objectives include 1) equipping students with strategies and tools to assess the health of their organization, and identify areas of need and 2) empowering students to adeptly apply Change Management principles, strategies, and tools at the individual, departmental, and organizational levels within their agency.

This class is offered in the online synchronous format with 2 live required Zoom class meetings taking place on 9/10 and 9/17 from 6-9 pm. The Zoom information will be posted to Canvas within 3 days of the scheduled start date of the class.
