Teaching Secondary Math Conceptually: Meeting Mathematics Standards

The course will explore an instructional methodology that incorporates strategies for teaching concepts, constructively, and contextually. The course will also explore teaching methodologies that support many federal and state standards. Strongly Recommended Preparation: Degree, minor or certificate in teaching mathematics. Credit Restrictions: Student must consult with his/her school district and/or state licensing agency to verify if this course offering will meet his/her district and/or state requirements for salary/advancement and/or state certificate re-licensure. Grading: A-F grading only.
