Drawing on the evidence-based research of Tyrone Howard, Claude Steele, Pedro Noguera, Geneva Gay, Gary Howard, and Gloria Ladson-Billings, this class equips educators with clear consciousness of factors, and sound methods to close gaps between traditionally marginalized students of color and their other student counterparts. Credit Restrictions: Student must consult with his/her school district and/or state licensing agency to verify if this course offering will meet his/her district and/or state requirements for salary advancement and/or state certificate re-licensure. Equivalent Quarter Course: TED 7988.
