Formative Assessments to Heighten Engagement, Guide Instruction and Improve Learning

This course provides teachers strategies to assess their knowledge and thinking in order to engage students through usage of diverse learning modalities. Teachers build a repertoire of techniques through this course, beyond the KWL chart, to monitor and promote student learning. Credit Restrictions: Student must consult with his/her school district and/or state licensing agency to verify if this course offering will meet his/her district and/or state requirements for salary/advancement and/or state certificate re-licensure.
