Students will continue their work from Litigation I as they prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents, and become familiar with discovery method and trial preparation. Prerequisites: POSC 804 - Litigation I. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: POSC 7013.
Notes:
This is an online asynchronous course, meaning that there are no required in-person or Zoom class meetings. Course content will be provided to students through Canvas beginning on 6/2 and ending on 8/2. This is not a self-paced course. Students will be expected to log into the course portal at least once a week to keep up with assignment deadlines. Notes:
This is an online synchronous course with required Zoom class meetings that take place on Thursday evenings, starting 6/5 and ending on 8/7 (no class meetings on 6/19 and 7/3). The online class meetings are from 6-9:30 pm. The Zoom link will be posted to the course portal in Canvas and also emailed to students within 2 days of first class meeting.
