This course provides an introduction to family law theory practice. Topics include: legal concepts underlying family law; purpose and preparation of dissolution pleading from initiation of the action to the final judgment; software packages for family law. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: POSC 7009.

ELECTIVE. This is an online synchronous course with required Zoom class meetings that take place on Tuesday evenings, starting 6/3 and ending on 7/29 (no class meeting on 7/1). The online class meetings are from 6-9:30 pm. The Zoom link will be posted to the course portal in Canvas and also emailed to students within 2 days of first class meeting.
