This course will help you build on the basic legal analytical skills taught in Legal Research, with an emphasis on formal presentation of research findings in memoranda of law and an introduction to persuasive writing. You will learn to use form books in drafting pleadings, instruments and discovery. We will also cover communication skills in client and witness interviewing, as well as fact gathering and investigation. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: ENGL 7018.
