Become familiar with the various forms of doing business, such as: proprietorship, partnership, limited partnership, limited liability company, corporation, nonprofit, and professional corporation. The focus of this course is on gathering information from clients, identifying needs and information best suited to the situation, identifying relevant forms, obtaining sample forms and modifying them as appropriate, and preparing all necessary forms and agreements. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: POSC 7004.

ELECTIVE: This is an online synchronous course with required Zoom class meetings that take place on Wednesday evenings, starting 10/22 and ending on 12/17 (no class meeting taking place on 11/26). The online class meetings are from 6-9:45 pm. The Zoom link will be posted to the course portal in Canvas and also emailed to students within 2 days of first class meeting.
