During this introductory course in contract law, students will learn the elements of a valid contract, as well as the rights and obligations of parties and defenses to formations of a contract. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: POSC 7023.
Notes:
This is an online asynchronous course, meaning that there are no required in-person or Zoom class meetings. Course content will be provided to students through Canvas beginning 1/20 and ending on 3/14. This is not a self-paced course. Students will be expected to log into the course portal at least once a week to keep up with assignment deadlines. This is an online synchronous course with required Zoom class meetings that take place on Tuesday evenings, starting 1/20 and ending on 3/10. The online class meetings are from 6-9:45 pm. The Zoom link will be posted to the course portal in Canvas and also emailed to students within 2 days of first class meeting.
