This course provides an introduction to family law theory practice. Topics include: legal concepts underlying family law; purpose and preparation of dissolution pleading from initiation of the action to the final judgment; software packages for family law. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: POSC 7009.

This is an elective course in the CSUEB Paralegal Studies program. All students seeking the Paralegal Studies Certificate of Completion must complete 1 Paralegal elective course during their time in the CSUEB Paralegal Studies program. This is an online synchronous course taking place on Tuesday evenings starting 6/2 and ending on 7/28. There will be no class meeting on 6/30. Students who have a BA/BS from CSUEB should enroll in this course using the Forever Pioneer Registration Form to receive the discount on the course fee.
