This course covers how a legal office functions, billing and financial management, typical personnel classifications in law firms, law office files and records management, and essential skills needed to manage a law office. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: POSC 7080.

ELECTIVE COURSE. Students seeking the Paralegal Studies Certificate of Completion must complete at least one elective course in addition to all of the required courses in the program. This course is offered in the online asynchronous format with no live required Zoom class meetings. The course material will be presented in Canvas starting on 10/12 and ending on 12/12 (this is not a self-paced course and student must keep up with the course material and deadlines throughout the 8-week session).
