Advanced Trauma Informed Reflective Supervision: Facilitating conversations that disrupt

This is an advanced Reflective Supervision course after participants have completed the introductory course. In this model participants will build active listening skills to promote empathy and emotional resilience in their community. Grading: CR/NC only.
Notes:
This class meets in the online synchronous format with 5 required Zoom class meetings. Students enrolled in this class will be assigned a specific group. One group will meet on Mondays (Jan 6, Feb 3, Mar 3, Apr 14, May 5) via Zoom from 4:30-6:30 pm. Another group will meet on Thursdays (Jan 9, Feb 6, Mar 6, Apr 24, May 22) via Zoom from 4-6 pm. The instructor will communicate group assignments prior to Jan 6. Students with questions should contact the instructor via email at kelsey.chandler@csueastbay.edu . The Zoom link for group meetings will be emailed to enrolled students within 3 days of the first scheduled group meeting. Students who are enrolling in this course must also enroll in EPSY 857 as these two courses are intended to be taken concurrently in the same semester. PREREQUISITES: EPSY 855 and EPSY 856. Course materials will be available in Canvas.
