This course covers options, issues and recent trends in employee benefits planning and administration. It also addresses internal and external factors to consider when selecting and administering benefit programs for both large and small employers. Major topics include health benefits (medical, dental, and vision), disability and life benefits, flexible benefit plans, and retirement plans. More progressive types of benefit programs that employers are turning to in their efforts to meet the needs of employees are also discussed.
