Youth Sport Matters

This course will bring critical sociological analyses to cultural issues surrounding youth sport. The course is built on the assumption that youth sport is an important location to more deeply understand more expansive social issues and tensions. Particular attention will be paid to the ways in which various social relationships and inequalities are simultaneously sustained and disrupted in a youth sport setting. Grading: A-F grading only. Equivalent Quarter Course: KIN 7817.
