Tuition and Fees

The fees you pay for your Continuing Education courses vary, depending on the type of course you have selected. You can view individual courses for fee information.

Fees are due at time of enrollment. You can pay your fees by cash, credit card, electronic check, check by mail (with registration form), or in person. Note: Credit card payments are only accepted online.

Credit card and electronic check payments can be made online through our secure interface or through MyCSUEB. We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and VISA. There is a non-refundable 2.65% service charge for paying with a credit card.

Financing Your Certificate Program

Traditional Financial Aid (such as completing the FAFSA, Pell Grants, etc.) is not applicable for Continuing Education certificate programs.

However, there are other options available for you:

Note: Loans will not be certified if they exceed the estimated cost of attendance adjusted to reflect the fees for your specific program.

Sallie Mae Student Loans
Offering competitive fixed interest rates in addition to low variable interest rates on all in-school repayment options, Sallie Mae loans will give you more choice and flexibility. For each new loan, you can choose the pricing and repayment option that best fits your needs (minimum $1,000).  There are no fees, and there are additional ways you can save, such as choosing to make automatic payments from your debit account, and more.  For more information and to apply online, visit their website.

Important: The Continuing Education school code for SallieMae is: 001138-98.

Employer Reimbursement/Assistance
If you are currently employed, inquire with your employer as many companies provide tuition reimbursement/assistance for professional development courses and programs.

Unemployment / Retraining Assistance
If you are currently unemployed, you may be eligible under the provisions of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014. California’s Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL), established in compliance with WIOA, provides customer-focused employment training for adults and dislocated workers. For more information, visit their web site, or visit CareerOneStop's American Job Center Finder to find the office nearest you.
